I have a friend that is going to court on Friday Nov. 19th for a DUI.
Her first one was when she was 17, her second when she was 21, and now her third when she is almost 40!!! She was at a company function, a fellow worker brought her a glass of wine... she started feeling strange.... left to go home and was arrested for DUI.

They are calling her a habitual drunk driver... give me a break... they didn't test her for any drug in the drink or anything..
She doesn't know how much time she will get.. and she is terrified. I'm no help on county jails, only federal...

Does anyone know anything about Cobb County... such as can she bring anything with her (i.e. toothbrush..) phone calls.... etc. Any info would be appreciated...

Well, my boyfriend was in Cobb Co. when he went in, I guess it's the same for women. I don't think they are allowed to take anything in with them. They are allowed phone calls and visitors. Hope this helps some. I hate Cobb Co.!!

Thanks for your help, that's really what we suspected. I told her if she takes anything with her be prepared to send it back home... even the toothbrush... just to take lots of $$$$.
