Good morning!

I'm trying to find a good Post Conviction remedy lawyer or any info on those to stay away from.

From what I can gather, the appeal (?) has to be filed in the state where the person was convicted rather than where they are currently housed :confused:

I guess this is my man's last resort so I'm trying ot help a brother out but don't really know much info. How can I get a copy of his file? Does it cost money? Would he have it already?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would do anything to get him out...within the law of course :)
