I went to Nassau Bahamas back in September for my birthday and I just now getting the pictures pulled off of the digital camera. What a beautiful place!!!

Great pictures. My husband and I went there for a 7 day stay a couple of years ago. We had not taken a vacation in years, and had such a good time. We took the cruise from Fort Lauderdale Florida to the Bahamas, and stayed there, and then returned on the cruise. Best time of our life as our vacations have gone! Did you fly or take the cruise? Glad you had a good time.

I stayed at the Wyndham Cable Beach Resort. It was wonderful. It is an all-inclusive resort with all meals and drinks included...needless to say I had more frozen pina coladas than I'd care to count!!!



Where did you stay?

I flew there from Atlanta and stayed at the resort for 5 days/4 nights. We actually went over to Atlantis and saw the sights. I think that if I ever go back I would love to stay at the Atlantis.

very nice. i have heard mixed reviews about the bahamas. how did you feel as far as crime and that type of thing?

It looks beautiful. I went to Hawaii in April. My son got married there and we went to a luau for the reception. Free Mai Tai's all night so I know what you are saying about the pina colada's!! Free drinks are great!! :p

I traveled right from the airport directly to the resort and then back again when I was leaving The Bahamas. I did not encounter any criminal activity or illicit things. We even took a taxi from our resort to the Atlantis resort about 15 minutes away all without incident. I am sure that there is crime everywhere but thankfully I didn't encounter any.

OH MY GOSH THAT IS BEAUTIFUL! that is where i was thinking of going on my honeymoon after i get married! how long is the flight?? i know it depends on where you are leaving from, lets say from florida, because i am not too good on planes. :)
