Ok, just got a letter like 2 days ago form Hunny. And just checked the DOC site for the timr left on the sentence. And guess what?
Yep, he was transferred again! And no what else? I had called just yesterday to see if I was approved and I was on the 4th. WTF?
I wont go through the wait again on the next visit.
I read that this place is min. Can anyone tell me more? Like what to expect in visits, money, cigs still taken in.
And also its a little farther. Why do they do this? Just another way to keep Family away and tear them apart. So disgusted.

Wannamae, you should still be able to visit him this weekend. If you were aproved you should still be able to get in. I think they have a 30 grace period where anyone on their list can visit within that 30 days. No it doesn't make any since why they would move them farther away from their family. You would think they would want to keep them closer. I don't know anything about that facility but maybe someone else will come along and help you out. You can call and see if you are on his list before you take off. Good luck

Grr, I'm sorry for ya!! I'm going through the same thing. We just got transferred out to JHCC a couple weeks ago. Now we have to go through the re-approval of visits and phones too. And of course, they did this right before our anniversary and the holidays!! I've got a call in to see about getting a 30 day grace visit so maybe you could do that? I thought it was a given rule but I'm having to go through his case worker to get it arranged so that may be the way for you to go too.
