The visiting room is small. Inmates and visitors are allowed to sit side by side. We were told no contact was allowed, but they were very lenient on us. We held hands, I sat with my arms wrapped around his arm and my head on his shoulder
They were rather strict on the dress code (no low cut shirts, no outer clothing) but lax in other areas. No problems getting in. Visitors are not allowed to take anything in with them only money and a key to a locker which was provided to put car keys and purses in. Inmates are allowed to go the vending machines with the visitors. The vending machines were well stocked and there was even a change machine.

It seems to take a long time to get mail into the prison. He usually receives letters 5 days to 1 week after I Send them. No packages may be sent in, only letters, cards and photos.
