OK EVERY ONE YOU BETTER SIT DOWN FOR THIS ONE.. TODAY ANTHONY HAD HIS COURT DATE. I GOT THERE ABOUT 8:30 AM AND FINALLY GOT BACK INTO THE PRISON WHERE THEY DO THE COURT. I GOT INSTRUCTED TO SIT DOWN AND SO I DID.. THEN THIS MAN WHO TURNED OUT TO BE ANTHONY'S ATTORNEY WALKS UP TO ME.. THE FIRST THING HE SAYS IS DARLA I HAVE BAD NEWS.

OF COURSE I ASK IS ANTHONY OK. HE SAID YES AND I SAID WHAT'S WRONG NOW. HE SAID ANTHONY IS NOT HERE THEY DID NOT BRING HIM UP ON THE CHAIN. HE IS STILL IN HUNTSVILLE.. SO I AM PRETTY MAD AT THIS POINT. THEN THE STUPID DA DID NOT BRING ANTHONY'S FILE..

THIS OTHER LADY SAYS WELL IT MAY BE IN THE CAR. SO SHE THROWS A FIT AND HUFFS AND PUFFS AND FINALLY GOES TO THE CAR AND INDEED HIS FILE WAS THERE. THE DA WAS TALKING TO HIS ATTORNEY AND THEY WERE DISCUSSING PLEAS. I HEARD HIM SAY SOMETHING LIKE 2 YRS TO RUN CONCURRENT AND THEN HE SAID HE THINKS THAT HIS CLIENT WILL TAKE IT..

I ASKED HIM ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THAT THE DA DID NOT MAKE UP HER MIND YET I HEARD THERE CONVERSATION. SO I JUST PLAYED IT OFF.. HE KNOWS THAT ANTHONY IS GOING TO LISTEN TO ME AND I THINK HE WANTS TO CONVIENCE ANTHONY TO TAKE THE DEAL BEFORE I CONVIENCE HIM NOT TO. I AM SO PISSED..

SO NOW HE IS ON THE WAY TO THE PRISON WHERE COURT IS AND THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK TOMORROW.. I ALREADY HAD TO TAKE OFF TODAY AND THEN RENT A CAR SO NOW I HAVE TO INCURE MORE LOST WAGES AND CAR RENTAL FEES JUST CUZ THE SYSTEM DID NOT HAVE THERE SHIT TOGETHER..

THEY WERE GOING TO PUT IT OFF FOR LIKE A MONTH AND I TOLD THEM THAT IT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. HE WAS SCHEDULED TO BE IN COURT TODAY AND I WANT TO GET THIS MATTER TAKEN CARE OF.. THE DA LOOKED AT ME AND ASKED IF I WAS SERIOUS AND I TOLD HER YES I AM!! THEY ALL WENT IN THE HALL AND TOLD ME THEY WOULD GET HIM THERE TOMORROW.. I SAID FINE I WOULD TRY TO COME BACK. SO THAT IS WHERE WE ARE NOW. STILL PLAYING GAMES WITH THE SYSTEM...

I CAN NOT HELP BUT BE FRUSTRATED AND IRRIATED. THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST GOTTEN HIM THERE HOW HARD IS THAT.

Shortie.... I am feeling so bummed for you right now.. I have been anxious all day to hear the good news.... I am proud of your assertiveness and there is some good that because you were there they will get him moved and it will get resolved tomorrow and not in another month or two...
Hopefully, this is the thing that was to go badly.. now the rest can be all good!! :)

thank you everyone. I am just frustrated and it really sucks.. I just want this case to be over so we can focus on his parole and know that we have a chance.. I am tired of the system not keeping up there end of the bargin.. I used to shy away from they but now they better look out.. I know my rights and I know anthony's too.. I am going to look out for both of us.

Like I told his attorney today I am upset because if I don't look out for him no one will and they will just screw him.. I am not going to let that happen..

SHORTIE- I JUST STARTED DEALING WITH THE "SYSTEM" THE COURTS,LAWYERS,ETC... I KNOW IT CAN BE VERY FRUSTRATING AND HEARTBREAKING WHEN THINGS DON'T GO AS PLANNED. I did not see this until just now and I have been thinking about you all day yesterday..... Well, today maybe will be better. You are in Court Now and Maybe a Miricle will happen.

I have been in your shoes so many times it hurts to tell. I know exactly how you feel. Violated and disheartened. Wondering how these people can hold down their job. If it were you and I we would have been fired a long time ago. But, somehow, they manage to always keep their positions and always manage to come out on top someway.

They can always come up with some excuse as to why things do not happen as they should.

That doesn't surprise me at all. The justice system sucks and most people in our society have no clue to how bad it is. I will keep you and Anthony in my prayers. Hopefully things will get better.
