The only thing I know of is the CDC webpage has a phone # you can call. It's the Inmate Locater line. The link is in the above sticky. Good luck.

Unfortunatly Cali doesnt have anything on line as far as inmates go but there is a # you can call
Inmate locator phone # (916) 445-6713 It is open 24 hours and you need the inmates CDC # or full name and DOB to locate inmate

thanks ... i saw my ex pulled over by the cops the other day and he had told me that if he got arrested he was looking at 7 years. i just wanted to know if he was back in or not...it's probably better that i don't know. :)

There is a site called VINE (Victims Information and Notification Everyday) that is used for being notified when a person is transferring to a different location in the system or if a prisioner will be getting released. You can sign up to be called when either of these things happen. It's pretty cool. I went to it to see where my boyfriend actually was and also when he was getting transferred. I was able to type in his name and birthdate and they found him in the system and showed me the results. Then when he got transferred to San Quentin, I received an automated call saying he was being moved. Although they didn't tell me where he was being transferred to(I already knew)I knew WHEN he actually was physically transferred. It was very helpful. You can find the site by searching for VINE{Victims Information Notification Everyday}or going to the Federal Bureau of Prisions site. It also helped because I knew for sure he was incarcerated. :]
