Hi all, I have a friend at Eyman SMU2 who is thinking of trying to transfer to another state. Does anyone know what is involved in this and the cost of an out-of state transfer? I'd appreciate any info. thanks

My penpal has looked into transferring to Colorado or Montana and was told it would cost $2000. He has family in those states and property in Montana.

Yes its very expensive and they are lucky if they get approved! But AZ prisons are so over crowded , if he is a low risk inmate they might? call the Warden and ask him I am sure they will explain it to you!

My guy is transfering and it is a long and costly thing... check out interstate compact transfers... that covers it .. costs vary by state and they need support network around them.. there are ways around it
but few
