DADDY'S HOME!!! :fb: YAY!!!

I awoke at 3:30am checking the clock to see if it was time to get moving. :confused: I lay there for nearly an hour more thinking. All what the heck. Get up and go get your man. :D The drive down was a smooth one. I floated on cruise dang near all the way there and back. I was real grateful for cruise control on the way back. ;)

I arrived to pick up Daddy about two hours early. :eek: When the line of men starting passing the visitors center i jumped out of my car. That's not him, that's not him, that's not him. :confused: Where is my baby? Seconds later i spotted him. He was still looking for me.

"Here I go Daddy." :D (*missone is smiling as she types)

He looks at me and flashes a huge smile. :D He comes to me and give me a quick kiss and say's let get out of here. :D First thing we do is stop at Popeyes to set some chicken because I had a coupon and it was on the way. :thumbsup: LOL He got the cell phone and called his folks and was really happy to talk with them. Stupid Texas. :mad: They know they need to let these men use the phone. :angry:

NEway,

We ate, talked, pumped up the music and rolled slab. Believe it not we were pretty quiet the whole ride home. Daddy pushed his seat back and enjoyed the scenery. I mentioned cruise control was a help because i couldn't keep my hand off of him. :p

When we were almost home and stopped for gas, Daddy went in to pay and i was standing at the pump. When he came out, i thought he was coming to see how to pump gas and he just grabbed me and started kissing me and holdng me for about two minutes. I said, "baby we got to pump the gas". :D After i put the pump in, I turned back to kissing my baby. :p I'm talking about the kinda kiss that makes you want to tell somebody to "get a room" if you see them. :D

Daddy said, "baby let's go on the side of the gas station or something. lol He so freaky. :) But I let my baby know we were almost home and that i would take care of him once we arrived. ;) I called ahead to see who was home and let them know they were getting ready to get kicked out because Daddy and I were almost home. :thumbsup: YAY!!!

Upon arrival Daddy looked around slightly and settled in on the coach.

Fast forward a lil bit ;) to a call from JEFFSPRINCESS trying to get the inside scoop on a sister. :rolleyes: Then the baby (KOBE) called to leave a welcome home message. :D I'm glad i picked up. :thumbsup:

After we got dressed we went to meet my sister and check out the halfway house. Then my baby got a haircut and we picked up my son from basketball practice. Coming home dinner was SUBWAY. :eek: YEAH, you heard me... I said Subway. I told this man i don't cook. :) (But i cooked Catfish and fries today so don't be hatin'.) NEway, we ate and Daddy and my son got acquainted watching TV while i was "supposedly" looking for directions on the net to the PO's office. :eek:

When bedtime came Daddy turned his back to me (which i didn't like) and went to sleep. But when I held him tight with my chest pressed against his back, I fell sleep as well.

Today was another busy day, but i'm not going into details because this post is long enough as is and i'm not even done yet. :p All i'm going to say is my baby looks so fine to me and i can't seem to keep my hands off of him. :D The only reason i got this much time to write this post is because i have knocked his axx out. ROFLMAO!!!

As for how Daddy is adjusting... i think he is coming along quite nicely. He is kind of quiet like people normally are around strangers and he is pretty easy going when it comes to whatever i ask. I did almost burst into tears when we were talking about him going to H'town, but he just told me to quite trippin and promised me he was feeling me and that he would make sure he showed me (later).

We're going back to my job tomorrow so the pastor can pray over our engagement and future (legal) marriage before my meeting so i think we will be OK. :) He refuses to let the halfway house owner extort money from us when he is pratically spending 24/7 with me.

We are taking one day at a time and trying to the damn thang fa sho. I keep asking myself, "babygirl, is this what you wan't?" And the answer is most emphatically YES!!! I love my baby and he loves me to the fullest. I have not been patient at times, but he is very understanding and accomodating. I let him know that i am stressed and promptly apologized after i said what i had to say.

Now i gotta go. It is the most wonderful feeling to spend time with the people you love and bless each other the way the God intended. My baby almost looked better than i did today. But that's ok. His parents are coming tomorow so y'all already know i'm going to looking "casually" fierce :). Constantly keeping it real, but representing just the same.

WOW, FINALLY!!!! I've been watching the other long thread about counting down the days and all the "glitches", etc. and even though you don't really know me, I've been like, "damn, if that man doesn't get home on Thursday, I'm gonna have a fit!!!" I think we've all been keeping on eye on "this situation" (wink) 'cuz you're such a gift to PTO and your devotion to Daddy has been so constant and positive. WHEW, hey, I'M even relieved he's home - LOL. YIPPEE!!!!!!! Please tell him a total stranger has been watching his days w/great anticipation for you & him!!!!! Daddy and I are doing good. :D He is out now job hunting. :thumbsup: I've been fretting (a lil bit ;)) about him transferring to Houston, but "we gone be OK". Nobody told me that the road would be easy and i don't believe Daddy (God and my baby) brought me this far to leave me. My chat w/ MajicLady last night confirmed my power to hold it down until such a time as Daddy can get on his feet. There is a lesson of patience being taught and we're going to have to learn. My baby is in an IPTC and from there he is suppose to go to a halfway house. So will I get to see him before the halfway house or do they provide his transportation to the halfway house and then I visit him there? You can PM me the answer....when you can. mm since your honey HAS to go there i don't know. I would check with the DOC on that one. Daddy went to a halfway house by choice. I picked him up and see him all the time. I don't visit at the halfway house because we are always together (pretty much;)). I hope you both can get the quality time you need and deserve.
