Hi. I have reviewed the information the DOC puts out about the institutions, but I was wondering if anyone has/had someone there that could provide me with some insight. My brother found out he was to be moved there from Stanley Correctional. Thanks.

I guess I would like insight. What is it like there? Any comments individuals staying there may have made? Are the personnel easy to get along with? What are visits like? I am interested in the reality rather than the DOC propoganda. I appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

tommy's been in redgranite for 2 years and he's got 2 to go. But out of the many prisons he's been to he likes redgranite the best. well for visits you are supposed to only have 3 hrs. total for one visit but they let him have a 4 hr visit because it was his first visit but now he got his visiting privilages taken away for 6 months. but the whole redgranite staff are really easy and very nice. the visits are in a big room with the rest of the inmates being visited there are vending machines. just make sure not to do anything not on the visiting rules. you get in trouble.

i think the bad thing about redgranite is that there is no AC i feel so sad for these guys and then the visiting area is HOT!!!!
Id like more information being that my bestfriend is now in redgranite i go up every thursday to see him but i dnt know how or what to ask as in what he can have total. it cost so much for him to send me it all does anyone know EVERYTHING they can have. I wanna help him out everyway i can but being i no so little on what he can hve i feel stuck. HELP!!!!!
