Does anyone know the max amount of time an inmate can spend in reception?

I don't know if there is a Max. If there is I haven't heard of it. I know one inmate that kept getting written up and was there over 6 months.

my husband spent 5months in reception, just because they had no place to transfer him to because of the overcrowding. He was never written up so I know that was the reason for him being there so long. It was horrible for him to be locked up 20+ hrs a day, that is doing hard time.
