I voted... yes on 66

I voted this morning for prop 66 and some other things. get up and vote !

There was a line 60 people deep when I went to my polls this morning at 8:00 and I was late for work. So I'm going after work and yes on 66 will appear on my ballot.

I just hope others (outside of the PTO) took the time to read prop 66, and not vote based only by what they saw in the (prop 66) TV AD.

IF I WERE IN CALIFORNIA I WOULD HAVE ALSO VOTED "YES"..."YES"...YES" on PROP 66!!!!

BUT SINCE I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY :angry: I SPENT MY WHOLE DAY PRAYING FOR PROP 66!!!!!

I cannot vote for Prop 66...but I sure pray it goes through (I am in NY).
My wife and I sure did vote for all those we could...defiinitely not B**h!

I am also very angry at the governor, and I feel it is going to affect alot of ignorant people. Polly Klaas's grandpa's ad was not strong enough to sway voters like that. I feel something should have been said about the fact that prisoners were not going to be released just like that. They have to go through a strict guideline to even be considered to be released. My son has been down for 10 years, his wife lives with me, and it so sad to see her so stressed out over this. I will never see my son again, if it doesn't pass. I am disabled and old and won't make it til his original release date. I pray all of you get out there and convince your friends, neighbors, co-workers etc, to vote yes on66.

I voted yes to 66!!! And now Im praying for the outcome, my husband is not affected by this at all, but my heart goes out to those who are, I am praying it passes................. :thumbsup:

I'm with Missie, my husband won't be affected by this, but, I sure hope we wake up this state about prison issues!!!

I worked a poll station today and heard MANY folks talking about how they were going to vote YES ON 66. I sure hope that was the case everywhere! I'm a nervous wreck to find out!!!

That's great to hear Jaimee! My guy isn't affected either, but it's SO important for so many people, and psychologically it could turn this state's mindset around about prison vs. treatment, rehabilitation, prevention and education!

I voted YES on 66 even tho my man isnt affected by this, he could be. He seems to think that if this is passed he will have to be re-sentenced , I dont know why cause he isnt in on his third strike.
