In the beginig he was all for this to pass now in the middle of it he changes his mind what kind of people do we have running this country, I am so angry  I wish that there was something we could do to let people know that this is a good thing to vote on and all the bad people they think this would effect it just simply does not effect them at all. Why are there only the commercials aggenst prop 66 being aired? This has really got me worried I really hope that all of you that can vote are going to do so and do the right thing and vote Yes on 66
Thank you,
Sheila Lee

I tell you this is making me sick, when he tells people the murderers and rapists will be released. That is absolute BS! And the people believe it... :(
The only positive thing in all this Is I just heard the new ad with Polly Klass's grandfather in it... I hope those ads reach the people they need to!

Did anyone see the governor's FALSE AD last night about prop 66???? I was so appauled when it came on. I was watching the news looking into the polls excited because prop 66 was winning. On his tv ad he completely lied and said that prop 66 would allow violent felons and offenders to walk free on california streets. What the hell is he talking about????? Anyone who read the prop would know that prop 66 was to keep violent felons in prison and make harder sentences for child offenders!!!!!!! It was simply for the poor men in prison that are going to be there for the rest of their youth for something simple as stealing a tire!!! All this does is make the STATE more money and cost us more taxes. They call prison rehiblitation? I don't think so! All the prison system does is make men and women co-dependent. Most of them when they come home they don't know how to be an or where to start because for the majority of their life they have been told what to do, what to eat, when to sleep, and what to wear. Meanwhile prop 69 passed and that is gonna cost a fortune in our tax money, when all it is, is a violation of our privacy!! We just gave more of our rights away. Now most of your loved ones will be getting blood tests taken for their DNA to be linked to other crimes. This is a very sad day today. Not only did prop 66 not pass but BUSH was elected once again. All the people who voted for him will see what a mistake they made in another year when America is still over there dying for his oil!!!!! I pray for everyone who was really needing prop 66 to come through. God is with you!!

I am really disappointment in our governor. I wouldn't give him that much, he ain't a good actor!! I don't undertand how he was opposed to Prop 66 when he has pardoned more criminals that the last governors!! Maybe we ought to kick him out of office too.

I'm certainly in agreement with you guys....the 'Gov' does seem to switch sides, and I'm very concerned about it. His ads about prop 66 were, without a doubt, full of mis-information....that lead to it's defeat. I believe that Arnold has become, or maybe has always been, an elitist. Certainly I would never mention that his German father was a bit that way. LOL. It seems that he consistently follows the popular elitist opinions, and in the case of stem cell research, used it it to popularize himself. (I'm definetely for stem cell research.) However, I'm notconvinced he supported it for the right reasons. I'm also concerned that any issue that has to do with benefiting a minority (Native Americans, Latinos) put on the back burner or is quickly defeated by his 'camp'. I am still mystified why he is so against Mexican citizens getting a California driver's license. I too, had high hopes for the 'Gov', but quite frankly I'm very disappointed in his record thus far.

I'm really upset about prop 66 not passing  , I was so excited thinking it would actually win and so dissappointed to find out in the morning when I woke that it didn't pass. My boyfriend who is in prison was so positive about maybe being let out in 5 years if it passed instead of 12 years. I went to see him today and he was really down in the dumps and feels that there is no hope. I cried all the way home driving feeling so let down. I feel the Prop was all misintrepted by people. My mom worked at the voting polls and said that a lot of people were confused by the Prop. They didn't understand what Yes and NO would mean when voting. I don't think something so important to so many people and families should be dealt with in such a simple manner as voting Yes or No. So, all the stupid people out there that don't know anything about the Prop because they don't have a loved one in the system, voted No without even knowing the real TRUTH about this Prop. Our govenor conveyed it in a untruthful way. Shame on him!!!
