This insanity has absolutely got to stop! There are 4 executions in the next 10 days -- one of them scheduled for tomorrow!

04 Robert Morrow
09 Demarco McCullum
10 Frederick McWilliams
We cannot as a people continue on like this -- you would think they at least wouldn't do one on election day!

why is it most of the executions seem to be from texas....I used to feel so different than I do today......Now I see the person and their family (loved ones) not the crime they did. I will included these people in my prayers. Love Jeanne

forgive me as I am ignorant about today's election, is it only for the president or is there a chance we can hope that Texas will get a humane governor elected who doesn't get off on signing death warrants? If this is the case is there a chance Perry is trying to 'go out with a bang?'

I don't believe that Perry is up for re-election but I'm not sure -- not all the governor's are re-elected at the same time.

I can't believe that all of these executions are right behind one another! It makes me sad when someone gets executed.

You are correct that Texas did not get to elect a new governor today. I wish we would have! I can't stand the executions here. (or anywhere for that matter...) Somehow Texas has gone off on this course of being the state with the most executions. I don't understand why. Who would want to put those notches in their belt? - I will pray for the men up for execution in the next 10 days, for their loved ones, for the victims and for the victims' families. Nobody wins here if these executions go through. Why can't everyone see that?
