Well all after 9 Months I got my first contact visit today and it was absolutley the best time I've had visiting. My mans on the east facility msf yard, not in the main house, say's his cell is open 24-7 and he can walk around from his unit to the yard, dayroom or T.V. room at will. He says it's more like a college dorm than a prison but you just can't leave.
Also how cool is the C.O. staff up there, eveyone I dealt with today was very polite and when we got on the yard there were inmates and their visitors kissing and hugging a couple was laying on the grass in the sun and kids running everywhere and they didn't say or do a thing.
I always hated the glass visits and have waited for this day a long time, I went with his Mom and Sister and Mom ran into his arms and wouldn't let go, had to make up for 9 long months.
So I know a lot of you don't have the ability to get contact visits or you're still waiting for the day they come, but I have to say this was a wonderful day for all of us and I hope that day comes your way too!
