Hello and Welcome :D !

These are some rules of the land, to live by, while you are visiting and sharing here in New York Forum! :)

1)Please post all information here that you think might help other people out there, PM and AOL IM is for private conversations, but if your information is for *public* knowledge, please POST as opposed to private messages or AOL IM....

2)Please be Aware of *titles* when you post! We need to be as specific as possible when we start a thread..."I need help" is not good enough, please say what you need help with. :)

*We do this type of thing to keep the search engine at a maximum level and to keep the site organized. That with so many forums and threads it is something we must do for the better of the community as a whole.
If there is another similar thread going on, that makes things confusing, so we only like to have one thread open about each subject...

3)We will be merging fewer threads and having members post a new thread for all questions and information.

However, we will try to merge like topics to keep them all together to store them all in ONE PLACE...

4) Posting the same threads in different areas is not allowed, and duplicate posts will be deleted.

Please be aware of this and do not get upset if you cannot find your exact thread, it just might have been moved to another thread. :)

** In regards to OLD THREADS:
We do not close ALL old threads, many are still relevant and are left open.
AGAIN, If someone is asking a question that gets asked a lot then we leave it open, if not we close it. Please realize that we are trying to organize this forum, and help all of the members here. Threads older than a year and that are inactive will be closed.

Please be aware of threads you answer. Be aware of the DATES! Alot of times, people DO NOT look at dates before they post and give advice to someone who has long since solved the issue.

4) Please read through the forum information posted and do searches as well- for the information you are looking for. Your questions might have already been answered. You may not realize it, but the same questions have been asked over and over again...be patient and look around, you will find what you need! :)

6)In regards to specific facility information, Please PM Nuro's Wife (http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=26618) with any information you have for the profile and we will post it for you.

If you have information on any of theose profiles that are blank, please PM Nuro's Wife (http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=26618), and we will start filling in the information you all need.

If the thread for the facility you are looking for is empty, or something is incorrect please let me know, and be assured we will work on it with you.

7)Please keep your private information off of this PUBLIC SITE for your own safety. Do NOT easily share your information here with ANYONE here!!! Be aware ...that includes names and pictures...You have a right to share what you want, but remember there are people out here you do not know and cannot trust!

They are not allowed to do that.
