All you ladies waiting for your phone calls, IT CAN HAPPEN!!

Its 2am here, and I am deliriously happy (though 5 minutes isnt long enough), you just hear there voice and the major goes... times up :(
I could of talked all night (oh, I do that on PTO anyway right).

Anyway, I had to share, now I am trying to remember what we talked about. It was worth the wait. :D

Im still awake Wingy, ordering him books.

Dana, Chuck put in a request daily, and bugged them until they were sick of getting the requests. He had been doing that for months. Just a suggestion :D A request away keeps the major at bay :)

Yeah I just wish it was longer than 5 minutes, it was like we were talking, and he goes, oh no, times up :(
It was worth every second though. I guess 5 minutes is better than not having a phone call at all. I havent stopped thinking about it all day, I couldnt get back to sleep, I kept thinking, oh, I should of said this or that (I felt like I was rambling), he sounded shy, which he isnt, but I guess its hard to talk when someone is listening in to your every word (not that I cared, I just talk to much anyway).
Then good thing is, that it was a international call, and they can now make international calls, and I think thats awesome!! It used to be they werent allowed to make international calls, but changed it. He had been putting in a request daily since July, which was dissapointing, cause I would be up to my second phone call off him now. But anyway, I am just glad that he called. It was the best wake up call ever, I have to tell you that, I am normally really grouchy in the morning. His the best andetode (to me anyway)....listen to me... blah blah blah... yeah, I am on cloud nine :D

wow! 5 minutes is alittle bit of time. My boyfriend calls me from Holman and we can talk for 25 minutes. Yeah I just wish it was longer than 5 minutes, it was like we were talking, and he goes, oh no, times up :(

Damaris and that is 5 mins every 90 days, if you are lucky. Some in Texas have been waiting along time and still haven't gotten to call.

hey!!
I'm a kinda new to all of this, i found this site whilst looking for information regarding polunsky, on a search engine.I am from london, england and I have been writing to my pen pal on DR at polunsky for nearly 2 years now. I didn't realise that they were able to make phone calls from polunsky, or is the unit a general population prison as well as a death row facility? i know that they can make phone calls from gen. pop. prisons, but death row?? i don't know... if anyone has a clue, please let me know!!

Yes they can make a 5 min phone call from DR. You have to be on their visiting list and they have to put in for the call. It is 5 mins every 90 days. They haven't always had it for DR, but have started recently lettting them have it, That is when they feel like it.
