Hello, I am new to PTO. My 19year old son has been in prison for a year. I am hoping that he will be home sometime within the next 6 months. I have so many questions as this is all very new to me. He recently was moved to a prison far away from home and I am worried about him. I am looking for any information on Centinela State Prison. In addition if anyone could help me understand how parole works I would be very thankful.

Hi Tami and you will find out that centinela is one of the prisons on here...it is hard to get any info on and also my fiance is far away from home..we are from central valley and they shipped him all the way up there, he has only his mom and two lil brothers and me of coarse but I am in Maryland at this time. so good luck.

I'm not personally familiar with Centinela hopefully someone who is will see your post.Try looking through the different forums in here to see what info there is available on it.The best place to look for parole info would be the parole/probation forum as the forum leaders there know quite a bit about it
