First of all I would like to extend my greetings to all of you who participate here. I have been following the various threads here for a few weeks in an attempt to educate myself about the unfortunate situation that my girlfriend and I are currently experiencing. She is presently in Dallas, GA, awaiting presumably Con-Air Transport via OKC to Greenville FCI. Honestly, I was horrified just thinking about the unknown that she would face there...and also wondering what I was getting myself into, but knowing in my heart of hearts that now was certainly not the time to contemplate abandoning the relationship. (Maybe more about that later) Well...after following threads in other forums, my mind and heart are resting much easier as I read about some of the experiences that some others have had in the federal women's camps. Secondly, I no longer feel alone in this situation, because I now understand that there are countless others who have love ones that will be temporarily distanced from us. So I want to thank you for that.;) We are currently appealing the sentence of 7 yrs that was imposed for probation violation, so prayerfully we will not be separated for that imposed time, but I am prepared to stand with her for the duration...if this is what God has purposed for our lives. So again, greetings and thanks for reducing my anxiety about the "temporary trial" that our growing relationship is now facing. We will remain in constant prayer for all of you and your situations.
God Bless

In this world we all here find ourselves, its good to share our time with others who understand our plight. Hopefully all our time will fly smoothly and swiftly. Good luck with your appeal.
