Does anybody know of food products that you can for hair conditioner? I think I remember someone telling me to use mayo one time.

I've heard of beer as well but it has to be flat.
I never wanted to try that one, as I didn't want to smell like beer!

Have you ever tried Aussie 3 minute miracle before? (you can get it about everywhere now, but it's not food haha) I love it!! It also has a really good smell too LOL. I also heard of taking vitamin E, using raw eggs, beer or mayo. Hope this helps.

Olive oil is good for the hair if you leave it on for awhile but you have make sure it washes out.

I've used mayo in mine, but most often I use olive oil. In my house the olive oil is in the bathroom closet rather then the kitchen.

i have heard of both mayp and olive oil! i have never tried either one though. i use joico k-pak. it is REALLY thick and works great. you have to get it at a salon or in a shop that sells products for hiar dressers and stuff. i have my liscense so i can always get it and send it to ya, if you wanted to try it :)

Oh! I so love that k pak! Its the best.

As far as food items though, mayo, beer, and cholesteral from tee tree oil work really good. I go to sally's for tree tea oilstuff (its like 2.95 for a pretty big container, its blue) Put it in your hair and leave it on over night (bag your head with a cap though) and rinse it in the morning. This is also a very good remedy for lice. my daughter kept getting it in 2nd grade and thats where I found out about this stuff)

I use olive oil... it works great. I basically take about 1/4 cup of olive oil and mix it with my choice of conditioner... shake it up before each use.
