I think I remember someone telling me to use mayo one time. strangeanimal 10-17-2004, 03:28 AM I've heard of beer as well but it has to be flat. I never wanted to try that one, as I didn't want to smell like beer! queenmae2u 10-17-2004, 03:55 AM Have you ever tried Aussie 3 minute miracle before? (you can get it about everywhere now, but it's not food haha) I love it!! It also has a really good smell too LOL. I also heard of taking vitamin E, using raw eggs, beer or mayo. Hope this helps. babieboo 10-18-2004, 12:28 PM Olive oil is good for the hair if you leave it on for awhile but you have make sure it washes out. TNC 10-18-2004, 01:33 PM I've used mayo in mine, but most often I use olive oil. In my house the olive oil is in the bathroom closet rather then the kitchen. meadow22 10-18-2004, 02:03 PM i have heard of both mayp and olive oil! i have never tried either one though. i use joico k-pak. it is REALLY thick and works great. you have to get it at a salon or in a shop that sells products for hiar dressers and stuff. i have my liscense so i can always get it and send it to ya, if you wanted to try it :) goddessbuffy 10-20-2004, 02:17 AM I have heard that Mayo works..... i also know that using Dark tea or coffee outs brunette highlights in and using chammomile tea makes blond hair shiney. GoddessB sellenburg 12-10-2004, 12:32 AM Oh! I so love that k pak! Its the best. As far as food items though, mayo, beer, and cholesteral from tee tree oil work really good. I go to sally's for tree tea oilstuff (its like 2.95 for a pretty big container, its blue) Put it in your hair and leave it on over night (bag your head with a cap though) and rinse it in the morning. This is also a very good remedy for lice. my daughter kept getting it in 2nd grade and thats where I found out about this stuff) lil_miss 01-17-2007, 10:54 PM I use olive oil... it works great. I basically take about 1/4 cup of olive oil and mix it with my choice of conditioner... shake it up before each use. |
