Hi Everyone,
I have never ever traveled by plane. I haven't even set foot in a plane before in my life. However, coming up in January I'll be flying to Orlando. I have no idea what to expect or even what to consider when buying a ticket. Any advice?
Thanks,
Candy

check out travelocity.com or cheaptickets.com. or priceline.com. i think a couple of these sites may allow you to "name your own price" or give you a discount. also, you should "play" with the dates that you are willing to fly (times too) often, depending on the day of theweek you will pay different prices (ie: if they have a lot of flights booked on a monday, you are going to pay more than if you would fly on a tues or wed.) also, if you are staying over a weekend, you will pay less than if you flew out on monday an dreturned on fri. also, the price will fluctuate between now and your travel date. try to find the best deal before you buy. u may be charged 300.00 a tix today but could pay more or less a month from now... the market is crazy. also, the time of your flight as well as the airport you are flying from will make a diff in the price. ie: although i live in Milwaukee, its cheaper for me to fly out from Chicagor... if there is a bigger airport (instead of a regional airport) its most likely going to be cheaper. if you have other questions, let me know.
I only buy my tix for flying on the sites mentioned above. with the exception of family emergecy or death (you can get a direct discount from the airlines in these situations)
