How often do you write to your brother or sister and how often do they write back? Do you try and keep the letters positive about their situation or do you mainly just give them the details of what's been happening in the family? I write at least once a week but I feel I should be writing more.

Been writing my brother twice a week, depending on how much time I have
aside from my job. Our folks, write more often, and usually send photo's too, so
he doesn't lose contact with the real world. We often send him the weather forecast, news and events that are happening in the free world. He says that
it helps him to stay focused and it really cheers him up alot. David
Hi David - Welcome to the Siblings forum- I hope you will be a regular here. :) I am glad you and your family are able to write often to your brother . How often does he write? Is he allowed actual newspaper clippings or do you have to copy and paste from the internet?

I used to write my brother all the time. (3-4 times a month)
Lately the letters have been slackin'. I think I wrote him twice this month. We're so excited about him coming home (in Nov :D ) that we've slacked on the letter writing.
I do plan to write him tonight.

I certainly will keep you posted. There has been such a great change in my brother's life since his incarceration. He was 23 when he went in and is now 37 so he's really matured mentally, spiritually and of course physically. I'm expecting great things from him when he comes home. From what I've seen, he's definitely a new man.
