HELP!!! I just found out today that my husband has been transfered to Mineral Wells....does anyone know much about it, what I should expect when I go Saturday, and if anyone has a loved one there??? Please help! Thanks!! :)

I wanna go visit my husband so bad but I live in Jersey. Any who I hear its somewhat of a well rounded facility My baby got there last week and says it's like a whole lot different from other prisons. keep me posted I'll probably go for X-Mas. :thumbsup:

Make sure you call the unit and arrange a special visit since you are coming over 300 miles. Also, the warden where my husband to be is (Eastham) told me that unless a holiday is on a weekend, there is rarely a visit on a holiday so check first. Maybe you will get lucky like me -- I am getting a 4 hour visit on Saturday and Sunday the weekend I visit.
