Hi, my name is Jane and I am awaiting sentencing. I am trying to cope with the reality of all of this and also to help my husband while I am gone, maybe 5 years. I am a Brit and will maybe get approved for the transfer treaty and be deported after 2 years or less. Anyway, I am hoping to get designated to Dublin and if I can either pass messages on or do something for anyone, I would be happy to help. I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge of Dublin, what are the odds of me going to where I request and lastly does anyone know anyone who has been transferred/deported to the UK.

So many questions..I know, we all have them, I just feel so fortunate to be able to talk to all before I go down, so that my hubby may feel a little more in the know!!I feel welcomed aboard, please help or talk if you can.

Hi and welcome!! I assume you mean Dublin, California right? I'm sorry I don't know much about the federal prisons in our state but would like to know more. You might want to also post your question in the federal and/or immigration forums, but please come back to us here in the Cali forum too!

Thank you so much for replying to me. I have not had the time to be here since 10/12 and my heart filled when I actually saw you all had written. I have posted on the headed to prison forum and we will see from ther, weather is bad here in the mountains, and I think we sahll lose connection soon, no more tv!
