Hello all! My name is Lydia, and I am new here. I stumbled on this site doing a routine search, and thought what the heck :thumbsup: .
My story is as follows; I have a brother Kevin who is 16 years old, who has been tried in adult court and given a sentence of 25 years, along with 2 strikes. I am the eyes and ears for my parents, so for all questions I might ask, I thank everyone in advance for their patience.
If anyone is in a similar situation, and knows of how the system works with juveniles in prison (CALIFORNIA), please advise....It is my understanding that they are no longer sending the juveniles to prison, but to YA unitl age 18....??
