View Full Version : Not Quite Home, But Better Than Prison!
MsAloha1018 10-11-2004, 02:21 PM After spending 5 1/2 years in prisons my Hunny is finally out on parole. He's in a halfway house and although he's not home with me it's the next best thing. He's got great roommates who understand what he's going through. He's got a very good job that he likes. He's working his aftercare programs. And considering the circumstances, he's looking healthy, happy and, as always, incredibly sexy. I could just eat him up!
Granted, he still has about 4 1/2 years left on paper. And life on the outside is not without it's challenges (we just got through one recently, all praise going to God for getting us through this...) But we love each other very much, will watch each other's back and this I promise as I've always promised him when he was in prison (during the darkest days)...I AM HIS FOREVER AND WILL MARRY HIM AS SOON AS IS ALLOWABLE (red tape and all that...) We just stay focused on the goal and take care of the incidentals that come at us along the way.
May everyone who has the opportunity to participate in PTO be blessed always.

So how often and where do you get to see him? Are the visits the same as in the prison? Mu husband is probably headed to a halfway house as well. After spending 5 1/2 years in prisons my Hunny is finally out on parole. haswtch 10-11-2004, 08:50 PM Nice to hear that he is among good people and you guys are enjoying life. A hug from NY where winter is breathing down our necks- enjoy that sunshine!
thunder 10-12-2004, 05:41 PM Ms. Aloha,
Congratulations on having him one step closer to home. It's not as long as it has been.
I have learned that when you are involved w/ someone that has been in prison and or in prison, you need more than love. Love is great, but as you hang in there, you need tolerance, determination, prayer, the desire, etc. to want to make it work.
Congratulations on the up and coming nuptuals.
MissOne 10-13-2004, 06:00 PM Congrats Ms. ALoha. I will be watching for your posts. My honey is going to a halfway house and we pln to marry as well. PLease continue to let us know how you both are progressing.
MsAloha1018 10-13-2004, 11:22 PM THANK YOU EVERYBODY for the great wishes! I really appreciate all of you and your wonderful support. Even though the circumstances with him being incarcerated were horrendous, we both grew up from this experience. May our Higher Power (I believe in God) always love, guide and protect us as we go through this thing called Life.
Take care and blessings to all of you!!!
HotLatinaMILF4U 10-14-2004, 05:25 PM MsAloha ~ All blessings back on you and yours. Please keep us posted. We LOVE hearing whatever it is you wish to share...
