Hi Everyone! This is my first time in this forum. Today I visited with my Hubbie and he is in reception in VA. He has been there now for 1 year and is bored to death. :o He wants to know what books that contain instructions and assignments in it for literacy that he can order or get approved to be ordered and the cost. They have no course study at the reception :blah: and he is trying to get up on his reading and writing do he can be prepared for the GED. :thumbsup: He is dyslexic :confused: He has a 5th grade reading level and is trying to teach himself. Any information would be grately appreciated. You may PM me if you like. :)

You can go to any book store and order books for him and have them<book store>mail them in or order on line and you pay for them and send them to the prison. You might even look at a home school program. My son has a learning problem as well but has done well in a self taught program. Remember the ged is on a 8th grade level, you can also order a PRE-GED book and mail it in.
