We received a visit from a parole officer at our home. Our son is serving a 6 year sentence for marijuana possession. The Judge gave him credit for 3 1/2 years at the time of sentencing. He was sentenced in Jan 2004. He began serving in Jan 2004. The DOC website shows him starting June 2004, but I dont know why.

The parole officer visit said " I was told to put a rush on this." He didnt explain why or who told him that.

Is this a good sign? Is this a precursor to him getting a TPM? How long after an investigator comes doe a TPM tend to come?

His employment also got a call and they explained David was welcome back to work as soon as he gets out.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the support.

I think he will be home very soon. In our case the date of sentencing begin was the month they sent him to diagnostics from county. Put a rush? Maybe that was a heck of a sentence for thc possession.

Sounds good to me too. We all know that they are overcrowded there and drug offenses tend to get considered for early release more often. That's how I see it anyway. Best of luck to you!
