hello i wrote a post somewhere on this site and now I cannot find it any where does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could find it

There are a number of ways you can locate that post that "got away"..
If you remember the subject that you used you can do a search for that subject. An easier way is to search by the person's name that posted the topic. It is located to the right hand side of the subject search. Enter your own name in this case and then click on the "perform search" at the bottom of that menu.
I performed this search myself and it shows that the only post that has been entered into the system is this one.

There may have been a problem when you entered the post you mentioned. If you do not hit submit at the bottom there is a good chance it will not enter it. I have made posts before by tabbing through the selections and hitting enter on the submit button, but I don't recommend this.

After you have submitted your post the site will generate a message telling you that your message has been posted. After this it should be available emmediately.

Please let me know if this happens again and the aprox. date and time so I can dig into the site records.

Woops... directions to the search button might help!
You can locate the SEARCH function on every page.
It is located on the top banner in the greyish silver menu line under the "breaking the prison system communication barriers" on the right hand side. (Take a look up there)
It is the 4th from the left.. Close to the middle.

The right hand side buttons are as follows:

Resources, Sign Up!, Members, SEARCH, Help, Forum Leaders

I am having this problem also. When I check myself by clicking on the members option at the top and go to my name, it says that i have posted but I don't see any of them am I doing something wrong?

Try:

*Click 'Members' (top of screen)
*Click 'L'
*Click on your screenname
*Click 'Search for all posts by this User'

This will bring up every single post you wrote.
