I encourage everybody to support The Second Chance Act (H.R. 4676, S. 2789). It funds 5 areas for ex-prisoners: jobs, housing, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and family life. It also helps grandparents who are supporting grandkids while the parents are inside. The recidivism rate in this country is over 60% because as a society we don't give people coming out the help they need. Congresspeople need to hear that there is support for this bill! It's as simple as sending them an email today.:thumbsup:
