JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT THIS........DECEMBER 16th. I WENT TO BOOKS-A-MILLION AND THOUGHT I WAS SENDING TODD SOME BOOKS FOR CHRISTMAS.......BUT TO THIS DAY HE HAS NOT RECIEVED THEM.......WHEN I WENT TO VISIT DEC. 22nd.....TODD SAID THERE WAS A PACKAGE FOR HIM BUT THEY TOLD HIM THERE WAS NO RETURN ADDRESS ON IT, SO HE SAID THEY SAID THEY SENT IT BACK......WHICH I THINK IS A BUNCH OF BULL!!!!!!!!!! ANYWAY I HAVE GONE BACK TO THE BOOKSTORE AND THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO PUT A TRACE ON THEM. BUT I KINDA THINK WHO EVER WORKS IN THAT MAIL ROOM AT FERGUSON MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN A LITTLE GREEDY......I AM CALLING FERGUSON TOMORROW.......I TOLD TODD SOMEONE IS GONNA COUGH UP THOSE BOOKS..........THANKS FOR LISTENING.............SHERRON :fb: :fb:

I'm sorry. This is crap. Stay on top of it and call like you said. A couple years ago I had to follow up when Bill ordered a tv and didn't get it. It had gone to Emporia Kansas or something instead of Virginia and then they had sent it back to the company from there and there it sat til I called. And you guys are all sane--the DOC isn't--how the hell can they send it back with no return address???

WELL, I CALLED THE FERGUSON UNIT TODAY.....THE GIRL IN THE MAIL ROOM LOOKED IT UP.......AND LIKE TODD SAID.....SHE SAID.....THERE WAS A PACKAGE THAT ARRIVED THE 18th WITH NO RETURN ADDRESS..AND SHE SAID IT WAS SENT BACK.......I GUESS TO THE POST OFFICE HERE IN TEXARKANA.......I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY COULDN'T GIVE IT TO HIM........ANYWAY I CALLED THE BOOKSTORE AND SAID IT WOULD BE THE FIRST OF NEXT WEEK BEFORE THEY COULD GO CHECK ON IT........SO GUESS I'LL HAVE TO TRY TO BE PATIENT...............SHERRON

The BOP will not give packages to an inmate without a return address. Furthermore, any hardcover books must come from a Bookstore or Book Order Company WITH the companys return address, otherwise they send it to the postmaster of the city it was shipped from. Friends of inmate can only send paperbacks from home,return shipping address applies.

I bought Tony some books in Nov for his Dec 5th Birthday.
I watched them on UPS page and they got to the prison on his birthday. He didn't get them until Last week!! :(
He isn't in Texas...he is in Oklahoma but we figured things might be slow due to the holidays.
