I'm sorry I don't I only know the basics from the CDC website like days Saturday, Sunday and designated holidays,Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. When I went to visit at a different Ca. prison the only thing I took in was my ID and money for the vending machines in a clear plastic coin purse.
Hopefully someone who visits there will be along to answer your questions.

I just got back from my first visit at Chino and it was easy as pie. The staff is really cool and the process a breeze. The only strictly enforced rule is no denim no showing the mid rift no underwire bras. I wore tan shorts a white t-shirt tucked in and a black t shirt over that and no one said a thing.

If your man's mainlined the visiting yard is pretty nice, kinda like a park with tables. If he's still in reception you get to go to the cramped no contact room.

Also you don't need appointments just show up wait in line, check in and when they pull your man out to visit off you go.

You need to be approved. Have your brother send you a visiting application. Fill it out, mail it in, you should be approved within 2 months.
