Hey everyone,

Does anyone know how long it takes to get approved for getting married in Virginia? My fiance is in Lunenburg Correctional Center. I talked with Joseph's counselor today, to find out if there was anything I had to do. She just told me that he has to start all the paperwork, etc, then I would get it sent to me, and if approved they would set a date. Does anyone know if they approve people easily or not? I thank you for any help. May God Bless you all,

Marsha

daer Marcha, my boyfriend is at Capron southampton in Virginia and we wanted to get married last time I was in Amerika in november, but he did not have all the paperwork ready on time..he used to be at Greensville CC in VA and there it did not take so long to get the paperwork ready, but here he had to have them made out 60 days before the wedding day...of course the chaplain there will not do the wedding so we have to find another one...anyway...we hope to get married any time this year, whenever I have money to go to Amerika...so good luck to you!

Congratulations, but you might try divorcing your current husband first.

Thanks Lulu, Hilde, and Enjay. I appreciate it.
By the way Hilde, my sister in law is from Belguim. I have been there myself, in fact, I also have a friend who lives with her family in Edson, Alberta. She was an au pair in the states when I met her, and I went back with her to Belgium to visit. I keep in touch with her now and again. I've been to most parts of Europe, and I like many of the countries. My friend's father owned a bakery in Knokke, and he made the BEST pastries...I wish I had one now!
Take care,
Marsha

Well, it won't be Lunenburg, because he is getting moved. But we'll still be getting married! Take care all,

Marsha
