Just to let people know who has ties to Alabama, let's post a mini-intro here :) Please!

I'm Monica Danielle and my connection to Alabama is through my husband. He's now at Loxley Work Release in Loxley. He has also been at J. O. Davis in Atmore and Kilby in Mount Meigs.

I live in Mississippi.

How would you all feel about trying to get together a southern PTO get-together? Just a thought!

Well hi folks, I'm Lysbeth (or Lynn which is my middle name, but really I'll just answer to most anything anyway) and my connection to Alabama is my boyfriend Brian (previously known here as Michael, his middle name, but it was just getting too confusing anyway so to heck with it!).

Brian is at Limestone CF in Capshaw, AL, near Huntsville. Prior to that he was at Draper, in Elmore. He is about 12.5 years into a 20 year sentence and scheduled for another parole hearing (sometime) this year.

I live in Tennessee, which is where Brian is also from. Best friends for 14 years and now my boyfriend for about 5 months, our relationship is both REALLY old and REALLY new at the same time. :)

Monica, I'd be totally into a Southern PTO get-together! Haven't really scheduled my visitation dates for the coming months but I can work around that, and the only time I know absolutely for sure I couldn't do it is most of the month of March (although I might be free the last week of that month). Would love to meet up with all of you!

PS I'm always looking for a good excuse to go to Tunica... <snicker> :)

Hi Everyone,
I am Vicki, the love of my life is also Michael, and he is at Holman. We are however awaiting his transfer to St. Clair in Birmingham. It has been six long years with the exception of one visit since I have seen him last. That one is another story all together.

Micheal is serving a life without sentence and we have been together for 10 years. I work at Walmart as a cashier, mother of three and I have one grandchild four.

I am very active in prison issues, and we are planning a prison convention this april in Montgomery if anyone is interested.
