I never thought I would ever be saying that I was excited that he was going to state prison, but after him being in county so long and not getting to see him in three months. I am. Plus he was getting really depressed. Does anyone know, do they get to make phone calls there?

alright my baby just called from the diagnostic unit and said that he is supposed to be going to brickey's, but that because of the infection going around he didn't know. He also said that because we aren't married that it will be 30 days after he gets there before i can go see him. Does anyone know anything about that?

Because you are not related to him by blood or marriage, you will have to fill out a visitation form and wait for it to get approved before you can visit. And I'm not sure, but I think there's a 30 day waiting period before they're allowed to see anyone besides their family. But I could be wrong on that last part (it's been a while :)).

When my fiancee went to Cummins, I took his Mother to see him the first visit but I couldn't see him. I filled out my visitation papers and I got to see him on his mext visit 2 weeks later. You don't have to wait 30 days but you do have to get approved first. The sooner you can get a visitation form and get it in the faster it will go. He will also only get visits every two weeks until they change his classification after 60 days at Brickeys or whatever unit they send him to. That is the way it is at Cummins anyway.
