Hello all! My name is Lydia, and I am new here. I stumbled on this site doing a routine search, and thought what the heck :thumbsup: .

My story is as follows; I have a brother Kevin who is 16 years old, who has been tried in adult court and given a sentence of 25 years. I am the eyes and ears for my parents, so for all questions I might ask, I thank everyone in advance for their patience.

If anyone is in a similar situation, and knows of how the system works with juveniles in prison, please advise.

Lydia, I can't give you the information that you are looking for, but someone will come along who can. I just wanted to welcome you to PTO. This has become my second family, because it is people who are in our situations and can truly understand our every thought, feeling and emotion without judging our loved ones. Just keep hanging in there and you might want to go to the state forum that you brother is incarcerated in and ask also. Love and God Bless Jeanne
