I remember seeing something once on getting rid of bees. It had something to do with dish soap and maybe soda??? I really don't remember exactly. I have alot of bees flying around my balcony lately and I hate bees!
Any ideas?

Look in your phone book for your county exchange, they give out free information on agricultual/gardening problems. I had a mole problem and went all over town asking every ones advice and trying everyones ideas. Finally, someone told me to call the county exchange and they told me to use denatured castor oil and to water it into my lawn. Got rid of them when nothing else would.
Good luck.

I'm sorry, don't know the dishsoap recipe for this ... I had a bee hive in the attic (yuck) ... called the county extension, they recommended a bee keeper. Bee keeper came and took the queen and most of the bees from inside my attic. Best of luck with this ... be careful you may have a hive. The bee keeper came at night when the bees were quieted down and in the hive, so get them at night.

Bees are going thru a hjorrible time right now and we need all the bees we have left to pollinate our fruit and vegitables...never mind my flower gardens!!! please call the farmers exchange or local agricultural group or local gardening group and ask them for help...the bee population has taken a huuuuuuuuuge nose dive over the last few years, due to...once again some imported not native diseases and mites...

:D You may not believe this but it's true! Some friends of mine, one a delivery driver [great big man] and the other a carpenter [wish he wasn't retired] got together to get rid of J's bee problem just outside his front door. There was nest there--well, D [carpenter] said go get the vaccumm cleaner! Yep they sucked them all up!! Low and behold it worked!!!
ONly problem was that  they forgot to make sure the bees were dead. Yep, you got it, they went straight to the garbage can thinking they had the air out of their lungs and were goners. :slap: Well, they let some of 'em back out and had to make a run for it.
However, it did work! LOL in your endevors! Diamondgirl

Ok, I don't have ALOT of bees, just a few. And I don't know that they are nesting at my house, I've just seen quite a few around lately. I'm scared of bees and it's been preventing me from enjoying my balcony on the few nice days there are left.
Any ideas???

I'd go to a Lowes or Home Depot and look for a spray for bees. I know that they have hanging ones for wasps but I'm not sure about bees.

I'd hang some really bright yellow flowers in a pot around the area where you want the bees to relocate.... AT OTHER SIDE OF THE YARD! Or... vacuum them up and seal the bag up?
