Does anyone have the number to San Quentin? I've been calling (415) 454-1460 and no one answers the phone.

I'm trying to get my cousin's cdc# and I've already tried calling the Inmate Locator number at (916) 445-6713 and no one answers the damn phone there either! Urrrr this is so frusterating! :banghead:

The inmate locator number is 24 hours and I've had good luck calling at night, very bad luck during the day. Try it again tonight between 9-11 p.m., maybe you'll get lucky, too.

Best time to call San Quentin is mornings, but not on Mondays. That is when
they are taking calls for visiting. Records comes in at 8 am sharp. Warden
comes in at 9 am sharp. Everyone else, except for the guards come in at 6
am sharp. You are calling the right number. When someone finally answers
the phone, ask for mainline records if your cousin is in the General Population,
or Reception Records in the event that he is in reception waiting to be transferred to mainline. When you call have his name and at least his date
of birth if you don't have his CDC #. Hope this is helpful to you. Good Luck!

like it was said above, try callin at night cuz its not so busy like it is during the day. 916-445-6713 is the number...be sure to have the inmates name and date of birth and they can then give yo uthe CDC number and the address to where he is. the prison will not give you that kind of information.
