Does anyone know where I can find the correct form to file for a visiting appeal? I found the section 3179 or 3182 but need to submit the same form an inmate would use. Is there a place on-line where I could get a copy? I've only found the outline of the process and can only get a hold of prison staff members that know less then I do about my problem. I was denied for visiting because of a peaceful contact order between myself and my husband. He is serving time for domestic violence at San Quentin and has been on the main line for a couple of months now. I have submited more then enough information to there office and have been approved for visits behind glass only. I have tryed everyday for the past month to get an appointment to visit, but stand a better chance at winnig the lottery, then ever being lucky enough to be one of the nine to get through the phone line. If anyone has any advise they could help me with I'd be very greatful for it. I have about 150 days to try to visit before he gets out.

my man is in chino and i was recently denied visiting. i was denied because i did not mail a copy of one of my court papers. so i got a letter saying in order to appeal i needed to write the warden. maybe you should call and ask over the phone how you would appeal to the prison he is in.

I need to write the warden at chino. Could you please give me a name and add: I can send to the attn: of? My visitation was recently suspended for 30 days. My notice states: permission to visit was suspended on 5/15/2005 for: bringing contraband on institution grounds. The suspension will expire on 6/15/2005 after which time the visitor may reapply by writing the warden.
My contraband was a sample-like bottle of perfume. I'm wanting to write the warden now so to insure my visitation priviledges will resume the following weekend suspension is over. Any advise you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Suez, so are you wanting to write an appeal because you're not allowed to have contact visits with him or because you can't get through the lines to make an appointment to see him behind glass???

I was just approved to see my husband in reception at Delano...however, they put a warning or something on the approval because he is in for domestic violence with me. I had planned to leave today to go visit this weekend but I actually got thru to the visiting dept. and they said that if I go I won't be let in...not even for an hour visit behind glass? Does anyone know what the heck to do? I have a call in to his counselor to get help and try to get him started on anger management classes, but in the mean time should I listen to this lady....cause she also told me I have to have the approval letter as proof to be able to visit someone. Help!!!!!!

I'm afraid I won't be able to visit my baby, either. I just sent in the application today. The application asks if you are a victim of the inmate and unfortunately I am. But I love him and have forgiven him. He needs me and I'm all he has. If anyone knows if it is automatically illegal for a victim to be in the life of their loved one? Everyone makes mistakes! We are all entitled to second chances and he has earned his. 32 months till he's home for good!

You have to submit copies of the court papers? Did it ask for that on the application? The application I filled out stated I had to include all convictions, arrests and detentions, which I did. It did'nt ask for copies! Please tell me its only if you have been discharged from parole/probation within the last year you are talking about. I am stressin already! LOL
