Micheal got a letter from his Public defender today. She sent him some papers to sign. They are willing to give him 5 years on each charge to run concurrent. (There are 2 charges btw) If he doesn't take this, he is looking at up to 26 years. So he called me tonight and we discussed it. If everything goes right, he could be 309 in about 3 months. The only bad thing is that since he is not going to go to court, I won't be able to see him. I still haven't been approved on his visitation list. He's hoping to be out by May, so we are planning on getting married in May!!! :D

Thats great news Kool_Aid! Why dont you call the unit hes at and see why you havent been approved yet. It usually takes about a week or 2 to get approved. What do you mean, he will be 309 in about 3 months? Do you mean he will go to a 309 in about 3 months? It took us a year to get one and that was AFTER my husband sent Bill Terry a request EVERY Monday until he was approved to go on one. Anyway, that is great news!! Congats!

I wouldn't make a big deal about not being able to see him since he's not going to court. You couldn't have much contact, if any, with him even if he did go to court. Usually the prisoners are kept under tight wraps. Call and inquire about your visitation instead...
