View Full Version : What can I send??? Bob-bi-lu 09-26-2004, 08:34 PM I just found out that my cousin was just sent to San Quentin, so of course he's in Reception right now. I wanted to know what can I send him? I remember back in 2000 when my man was in Reception at San Quentin I was able to send him money orders, pre-stamped envelopes, stamps, paper and clear pens. Am I still allowed to send these things and if so what is the quantity limit? Is there anything else that I can send? Any info. would be appreciated! Eric's Homegirl 09-27-2004, 08:40 AM In answer to your questions: you can send up to 5 books of stamps per envelope, 2 clear black or blue pens, 1 tablet of writing paper per envelope, and 100 pre-stamped envelopes. That's it, until he is mainlined that is all that is allowed in Reception. Unless of course he is going to go to a Morriessy Hearing any information that would provide a good recourse for a lesser sentence with BPT you can send all the info you can.
