Does anyone know anything about honor camps? How are they different from prisons? Can you name me some in Alabama?

The difference may be that honor camp inmates are usually allowed community service work where as work release are allowed to work jobs in public for pay. I think they decide where you go according to your crime and any disciplinaries that you have.
Two of the honor camps here are:
Red Eagle Honor Camp
1290 Red Eagle Rd.
Montgomery, Al. 36110

Farquhar Cattle Ranch
1132 County Rd. 32
Greensboro, Al. 36744

These camps have minimum and trusty custody inmates.

Kevin is at Red Eagle Honor Farm right now. It's really not a bad place (most of the guys like it down there...well, like it better than anywhere they've been...). I don't know anything about the Cattle Ranch though.
As for Red Eagle...they work you 30 days on the farm and then most of the guys get a "free world" job (where they leave the farm and go to work somewhere else...but return to the farm after work). Vists there are pretty much "laid back". There is alot more I could tell you so...if you find out that he's going to Red Eagle...let me know and I'll help ya out and answer any questions that you have...okay?
