From a Publication distributed at Cummins Prison, according to the Cummins’ Institutional Parole Officer (IPO).
If an inmate has no place to parole to, he/she can apply to be accepted at a Halfway house.
The inmate MUST write to one of the acceptable Halfway houses and have the letter of acceptance in his/her possession BEFORE he/she can submit it as his/her intended place of residence within the parole plan. The IPO will not accept a Halfway house as part of a parole plan without a letter of acceptance.
Below is a list of acceptable Halfway Houses. (I have not validated this information, and I do not know if it’s an all-inclusive list.)
