Malabar Special Programs Centre (Maximum)
It comprises the Special Care Unit, the Alexander Maconochie Unit (violence prevention), Lifestyles Unit (for HIV-positive inmates), the Kevin Waller Unit for self-harming and suicidal inmates, a sex offenders program.
Metropolitan Medical Transit Centre (Maximum)
It is currently being used to hold inmates who have been discharged from Long Bay Hospital or are awaiting medical appointments.
Industrial Training Centre (Minimum)
Holds those serving short sentences and those nearing release. Total inmate accommodation is 412.
Long Bay Hospital (Maximum)
Holds a total of 120 inmate patients in four wards. One ward is for medical cases and the other three for long-term and short-term psychiatric cases. The hospital is jointly administered by the Department of Corrective Services and the NSW Department of Health.
Special Purpose Centre (Maximum)
Holds inmates requiring special protection.

Berrima is now a women's correctional centre. It was previously a mens prison but became a women's minimum/medium prison a few years ago. Apparently it's now being turned into a maximum security prison for long-term female prison inmates, following a number of escapes and escape attempts.

Spent a year in Goulburn and found it to be the most easy jail time I ever did. The screws on the other hand were quite simply the hardest and the worst. Never got deported though, despite the court order and left of my own accord!!!
