My son has been in prison for two years now. His TPM still says n/a. Does anyone know if they will not give him one d/t we are attempting to appeal? His lawyer got his trial transcript about a month ago and I don't know what goes on from this point, but I thought they may withhold a TPM d/t the appeal. Can anyone give me any information? I will greatly appreciate it.

Charlie got his TPM 4 months after leaving Jackson Diag.

I'm not sure what happens to the TPM process if there is an appeal being made. The TPM will not always be determined in a quick manner. It depends on the actual sentence time. THey have a requirement of time served before the TPM is determined and the process of investigation takes 6-8 months per the Parole Board.

He got 31 years to serve 12. He has been in for 2. He has never been in trouble before and has had no trouble while he has been in. He has a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury and doesn't really understand everything that is happening to him. I was just hoping for a TPM so that I could get alittle closure and alittle peice of mind. Thanks for your responses.
