What you need:

½ cup each bay and peppermint leaves
1 ½ teaspoons each citrus peels
garlic powder
diatomaceous earth
cayenne pepper
pyrethrum
salt

What you do:

Grind the ingredients into a powder in a blender or with a mortar and pestle.
Dust along baseboards, the back of counters, and other areas of infestation.
Do not rinse.

Makes 1 cup
Preparation time:
About 20 minutes
Shelf Life:
Indefinite, although the herbs will lose their potency.
Storage:
Glass jar with a screw top

Thanks you Sweetpea...I really like that website you posted...but girl, I gotta say the bugs around here would probably snort that dust and keep on crawling, biting, burrowing, stinging, etc etc....they are BIG and BAD! hehehehehe

Judy, teehee, I know...my girlfriend had ants that actual ate through her AC wires a couple of months ago. Don't want to meet up with those buggers!!!!! :p

Hi, Where would I get those supplies? I have never heard of some of it. I am starting to see a few bugs around here these days . I live in Fla. so we are going to have bugs, that's a given !!!! I am looking for a "remedy", I can do myself. Sprays are to expensive, and never last . And what is your opinion on Combat roach gel? I have heard it works too. Thanx

My house is infested with scorpions, now that is gross....I never walk around barefoot and always have to shake my clothes, towels, etc. Spraying doesn't kill them. I've already been stung twice. Maybe I will try your recipe - I'm desperate!
