my niece is going to alderson oct. 13 and we were wondering what it is like down there. visiting, sleeping quarters, jobs and etc. anyone knowing anything please let me know. she will be serving a 26 month sentance. do they have boot camp and does anyone know anything about it. is there anyway to get extra time off of your sentance in federal. also does anyone know how they determine where to send you as i hav a nephew that we think will go to maxium because of having a 20 year sentance for drug but non vilolent, do you know where these prison are. anything anyone can tell me will help. also does anyone know about the NATIONAL LEAGUE PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATES that say for a certain amount of money they can HELP your lawyer get a shorter sentance. please let me know if anyone knows anything about all the stuff i have asked about.

My sister is at Alderson. I'll share what I can about Alderson, PM any time. I still don't understand the ways of the Federal system too much, though. This site is full of great people who can help you there.

Not sure if you found it yet, but there is a thread titled "Self-surrending to alderson" by Selah7 from early August. (Sorry, I don't know how to put in the link. I clicked on Advanced Search and searched for Alderson in the Title and it came up). It has a lot of current information about Alderson all in one place. Thanks to Selah7 for compiling it.
