Bruce Lulow of SCORE will be the guest speaker at a small-business seminar planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 14 in cooperation with the Community Justice Center's Employment Program.

"Take Charge of Your Future" is the topic of the seminar planned at the Washington State Department of Corrections CJC, 9105B state Highway 99, Vancouver.

Lulow will share information on where small-business owners can find free labor in Clark County.

The CJC Employment Program is a unique collaboration between the Washington state Department of Corrections, Clark County Corrections and the Clark County Sheriff's Office Jail Work Center. The seminar is one in a series of community events offered at the CJC.

The CJC Employment Program's focus is on at-risk clients, but all events are free and open to the public. Space is limited, so call Beth Sharpe at 360-571-4358 to reserve a spot.
