I am a rosarian and have over 250 varieties. I thought you might like to know that there is a rose named after the one time empress Soraya of Iran divorced by the Shah and supplanted by Farah Diba Her rose is Kristerin Farah which is no longer in commerce.
Soraya continues to be admired and one of the most elegant of all the large red flowered roses
