Medium security institution
AZ policies are that you cannot even have a misd charge in order to be added to an inmated "approved" list
inmates cannot call anyone who isn't on thie "approved" list

AZ sucks!!!!!

Florida is the same way...they get a pin# and can only call out to those individuals that are on their phone list. It is for security reasons - irregardless of what security prison it is.
